Rebecca is a distinguished Certified Residential Appraiser and seasoned Human Resources professional with over two decades of expertise in property valuation, operational leadership, and workforce strategy. She blends analytical precision with a deep understanding of compliance, market trends, and organizational development to deliver exceptional results for clients across industries.
With a career spanning real estate appraisal and HR leadership, Rebecca brings a rare dual perspective to every project. As the founder and Chief Appraiser of Merch Appraisals, she has completed thousands of residential appraisals, specializing in high-value properties, trust and estate valuations, and litigation support with a keen eye for market dynamics.
Parallel to her appraisal work, Rebecca has built and managed HR infrastructures for companies of all sizes, from startups to large firms. She has managed payroll systems, navigated complex compliance requirements, and led workforce transitions. Her ability to align HR strategy with business goals has made her a trusted advisor in talent management, policy development, and organizational efficiency.
Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her professional certifications include Colorado State Certified Residential Appraiser #CR200001898 and the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification, reflecting her commitment to excellence in both appraisal and HR disciplines.
